Music Workshop with Leeds College of Music
On 21st February, we were honoured to have Mr. Dave Walsh, the Principal Lecturer for the Jazz pathway of the Leeds College of Music, hosting a music improvisation workshop for our students. The workshop started with fascinating Jazz performances by Mr. Walsh and two alumni from the college, forming a trio with drum, guitar and double bass. The audience greatly enjoyed the performances. This was followed by clapping some rhythmic patterns and ended with students learning how to improvise with their instruments.
We would like to thank Mr. Ben Whitehouse, the International Manager of Leeds College of Music, for the co-ordination of the programme, and the musicians for the inspiring workshop.
